TORONTO – Cara Zwibel, Director of Fundamental Freedoms for the Canadian Civil Liberties Association made the following statement:
As Manitoba announces new “benefits” to be conferred on the fully vaccinated, the questions we have asked the government – including the purpose of the scheme, how information will be collected and how it will be safeguarded – remain unanswered.
The province is embarking on a social experiment that may have significant human rights implications but has provided no assurances that it is taking those into account.
