le <em>Loi sur le Tribunal des renseignements personnels et de la protection des donn\u00e9es<\/em> (PIDPTA), qui cr\u00e9erait un nouveau tribunal charg\u00e9 d&#039;imposer des sanctions aux organisations qui violent les dispositions cl\u00e9s de la CPPA\u00a0; et le <em>Loi sur l&#039;intelligence artificielle et les donn\u00e9es <\/em>(AIDA), la premi\u00e8re l\u00e9gislation du secteur priv\u00e9 au Canada sur l&#039;intelligence artificielle (IA).<\/p>\n<p>Malheureusement, le projet de loi C-27 pr\u00e9sente de mani\u00e8re inappropri\u00e9e le droit \u00e0 la vie priv\u00e9e des gens comme quelque chose qui doit \u00eatre mis en balance et plac\u00e9 au-dessous des int\u00e9r\u00eats commerciaux. Elle ne parvient pas non plus \u00e0 saisir la complexit\u00e9 des pr\u00e9judices et des risques que l\u2019IA peut faire peser sur les individus, les communaut\u00e9s et leurs droits fondamentaux. Le m\u00e9moire de l&#039;ACLC recommande des amendements au projet de loi qui donneraient la priorit\u00e9 au droit des individus \u00e0 la vie priv\u00e9e et qui prot\u00e9geraient mieux les droits humains et les libert\u00e9s civiles des personnes face \u00e0 un changement technologique rapide.<\/p>\n<p>Une gouvernance plus forte et ax\u00e9e sur les droits autour de l\u2019IA n\u2019est pas seulement quelque chose que souhaitent les groupes de d\u00e9fense ; le public le veut aussi. <a href=\"https:\/\/takeaction.ccla.org\/support-ai-regulations-canada\">En juillet, l\u2019ACLC a lanc\u00e9 une p\u00e9tition appelant \u00e0 une gouvernance de l\u2019IA qui donne la priorit\u00e9 aux droits de l\u2019homme.<\/a> La p\u00e9tition a recueilli plus de 7 000 signatures \u00e0 travers le pays. Nous avons joint la p\u00e9tition \u00e0 cette soumission pour montrer \u00e0 quel point ces questions trouvent un \u00e9cho aupr\u00e8s des personnes sur lesquelles ces technologies auront le plus d&#039;impact.<\/p>\n<p>Le pr\u00e9ambule du projet de loi C-27 \u00e9nonce son intention de \u00ab moderniser le cadre l\u00e9gislatif du Canada afin qu&#039;il soit adapt\u00e9 \u00e0 l&#039;\u00e8re num\u00e9rique \u00bb.
