La Cour sup\u00e9rieure du Qu\u00e9bec\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.theglobeandmail.com\/news\/politics\/quebec-judge-stays-controversial-face-cover-law-bill-62\/article37169426\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">accord\u00e9<\/a>\u00a0le s\u00e9jour en d\u00e9cembre en attendant la publication des directives officielles pour la demande et l&#039;octroi de d\u00e9rogations \u00e0 la loi sur la base des accommodements religieux. Les lignes directrices \u00e9taient\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.cbc.ca\/news\/canada\/montreal\/quebec-bill-62-guidelines-accommodations-1.4655620\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><u>sorti mercredi<\/u><\/a>\u00a0par le gouvernement du Qu\u00e9bec.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab Ces lignes directrices ne fixent pas une loi qui est, \u00e0 la base, discriminatoire et inconstitutionnelle. Exiger des femmes musulmanes qui portent le niqab qu&#039;elles fassent une demande d&#039;exemption chaque fois qu&#039;elles souhaitent acc\u00e9der aux services publics de base tels que les soins de sant\u00e9 et les transports en commun leur impose un fardeau suppl\u00e9mentaire. \u00c0 notre avis, ces lignes directrices ne font que renforcer la nature alambiqu\u00e9e et imparfaite du projet de loi 62 \u00bb, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 le vice-pr\u00e9sident du CNMC, Khalid Elgazzar.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab Dans le climat sociopolitique actuel, le projet de loi 62 ne fait qu&#039;accentuer la x\u00e9nophobie et les pr\u00e9jug\u00e9s \u00e0 l&#039;encontre d&#039;un groupe minoritaire de femmes musulmanes d\u00e9j\u00e0 stigmatis\u00e9es et st\u00e9r\u00e9otyp\u00e9es \u00e0 l&#039;infini. Ces lignes directrices ne font rien pour changer cette r\u00e9alit\u00e9. La Cour sup\u00e9rieure du Qu\u00e9bec a\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.theglobeandmail.com\/news\/politics\/quebec-judge-stays-controversial-face-cover-law-bill-62\/article37169426\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">accueilli<\/a>\u00a0la demande de suspension en d\u00e9cembre en attendant la publication des lignes directrices officielles visant la demande et l&#039;octroi d&#039;exemptions \u00e0 la loi sur la base d&#039;h\u00e9bergements religieux. Ces lignes directrices ont \u00e9t\u00e9\u00a0<u>publi\u00e9 mercredi<\/u>\u00a0par le gouvernement du Qu\u00e9bec.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab Ces lignes directrices ne permettent pas de corriger une loi qui est d\u00e9tect\u00e9e et inconstitutionnelle. Le fait d&#039;obliger des femmes musulmanes qui le niqab \u00e0 une demande d&#039;exemption \u00e0 chaque fois qu&#039;elles portent \u00e0 acc\u00e9der \u00e0 des services publics de base tels que les soins de sant\u00e9 et l&#039;utilisation des transports en commun ajoute un fardeau injustifi\u00e9 sur leurs \u00e9paules. \u00c0 notre avis, ces lignes directrices ne font que renforcer le caract\u00e8re alambiqu\u00e9 et mal con\u00e7u du projet de loi n\u00b0 62 \u00bb, affirme Khalid Elgazzar, vice\u2011pr\u00e9sident du CNMC.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab \u00c9tant donn\u00e9 le climat sociopolitique actuel, le projet de loi n\u00b0 62 ne fait qu&#039;exacerber la x\u00e9nophobie et les pr\u00e9jug\u00e9s contre un groupe minoritaire de femmes musulmanes qui sont d\u00e9j\u00e0 inutiles stigmatis\u00e9es et st\u00e9r\u00e9otyp\u00e9es.
