Airport Security

In May 2010, CCLA provided oral and written submissions to the Standing Committee on Transport, Infrastructure and Communities, regarding four different models of airline security followed globally – behavioural, technological, random screening, and reliance on intelligence – and the civil liberties concerns of each model. CCLA reiterated its message that respect for human rights is a prerequisite for effective security.
